Two In A Row For Real Saga Filly

PROMISING Real Saga filly Real Dreams has hit her stride.

The three-year-old has now won two in a row, having bolted in at Ipswich on Friday, January 10.

And it was the authority of that win that most pleased trainer Stuart Kendrick.

Ridden by Larry Cassidy, Real Dreams ($3.80) won the Class 1 (1200m) by three lengths.

"She sat second and then kicked away in the straight and won easily,'' Kendrick said.

"She might have one more run before a spell,'' he said.

"We might have a crack at a QTIS race, possibly in town either in a midweek or on a Saturday."

Real Dreams was unlucky not to win at Kilcoy three starts back when second after being caught wide.

She then broke through in a Sunshine Coast Maiden (1200m) before delivering again at Ipswich.

"I'd be pretty happy to give her a go over 1350m,'' said Kendrick.

He leases the horse off Paul Maguire, of Maguire Breeding and Racing, who bred the filly.
