Rock In A Glamour Win

The Scott Singleton trained mare Glamour Rock notched her 4th win when taking  out the NATIONAL JOCKEYS CELEBRATION DAY BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP (1400 METRES) at Canberra on 01/08/14.

The Fastnet Rock mare appreciated the sting out of the ground when running on the slow 6 rated track and was unwanted in the betting when starting at $14 but got the job done.

KENDRICK Racing trainer Stuart Kendrick has won his sixth premiership in seven years.

KENDRICK Racing trainer Stuart Kendrick has won his sixth premiership in seven years.

Kendrick has taken out the Sunshine Coast title for 2013/14 in his first full season based at the Caloundra track.

It followed five successive Mackay premierships from 2005/06 to 20011/12 before he relocated south early last year.

He won the Caloundra premiership for the season just completed with 26 wins at the track and an impressive strike rate of nearly 20%.

Wells Wins Grand National Steeplechase

Wells caped off his preparation with a six length win in the Grand National Steeplechase at Sandown on Sunday.

He continued his great form with a well-deserved and  gallant victory over Bashboy who was brave in defeat.

Wells had been racing in great form with placing's in all of his previous jumping starts behind smart horses and in the top races.

Radiant Angel Wins First Up

THREE-YEAR-OLD filly Radiant Angel has enhanced her pedigree with a city win first-up from a freshen-up.

Having her first run since April, she won a Class 5 (1000m) at Eagle Farm on Wednesday, June 25.

Ridden by Tim Bell, she scored by three-quarters of a length as a $7 chance.

EXCITING Myboycharlie filly Little Fighter will head into the $50,000 QTIS Bruce McLachlan 2YO (1200m) on the Sunshine Coast following an impressive breakthrough win at only her second start.

After debuting with a solid third at Ipswich last month, she ran right up to the promise she'd shown in track work to bolt in by a big space at Kilcoy on Saturday, June 14.

Mossale Digs In At The Bool

In front of a huge 3 day crowd Peter Gelagotis produced his gun wet tracker Mossale to win on day 2 of the famous Warrnambool Carnival with a gutsy performance lumping 60kg over the 1700m journey. It was the trainers first winner at this prestigious event which is considered by many the premier country racing program in Australia showcasing jumps racing and of course some very famous races including the Warrnambool Cup which the stable had 2 runners in Mourinho and Hvasstan.

Brodies Outstays Them At Bathurst

After stepping up to the 2000mt trip for the first time Brodies showed them a clean set of heels after winning the COATES HIRE CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (2000 METRES) at Bathurst on 25/04/14.

The Scott Singleton trained Easy Rocking Gelding settled worst then mid field before over powering his rivals by 1 length beating 2nd - Master Shep and 3rd - Zenith of Hope on the Good 2 track.

Abbalac Wins Well At Mudgee

The Scott Singleton trained Abbalac won well in THE BUTCHER SHOP CAFE BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP (1200 METRES) at Mudgee on Sunday the 20th of April.

Sent out a $10 chance the 4yo Mare by Immovable Option was on the pace all the way before powering clear to win by 1.5 lengths over Ausbred Benz and Burrenjunction Spy third.

That made it her fourth career win and she will now head to a Benchmark 60 handicap at Mudgee on Sunday the 4th of May.

The Heavy track was no hindrance to 3YO Dubawi colt Dubawi Dream when taking out the WEST PENNANT HILLS SPORTS CLUB CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1600 METRES) on 10/04/14 at Hawksbury.

His win was a convincing 2 lengths ahead of 2nd - Further Details and 3rd - Standard Bearer after jumping well and leading all of the way taking his overall record to 2 wins and 3 placings from only 7 starts.
