Ever consistent galloper ROLLIN'ONTHERIVER made short work of his opposition in the NUCLEAR'S BELLE HORSE OF THE YEAR BENCHMARK 54 HANDICAP over 2200mt on 14/01/14 at Nowra.

Lumping the top weight of 59kg the 6yo son of Nediym won easily by 2.8 lengths beating 2nd - Brimarsco and 3rd - Boratora after starting the $1.85 favourite for the event.

Star Grants Wishes

Wish Apon A Star won convincingly at Eagle Farm on Wednesday 8th January. She was trapped 3 wide without cover for the entire race but showed a determined will to win holding on for a very convincing victory.

Her raced record is now 7 starts for 3 wins 2 seconds and a third including a Saturday victory in town. She has collected at every start as her only other run she finished 4th. This gutsy filly was bred by Kurt Turner and is raced by Kurt with his family and friends. He and his family have a long history in racing and his knowledge has come to the fore with the breeding of this winning filly.

SHOW A HEART gelding Priceless Heart has always shown promise and now he has delivered.

The gelding broke through at his fourth career start in the Wall Street QTIS 3YO Maiden (1200m) at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, January 5.

"He's been a horse that has always shown plenty of ability,'' trainer Stuart Kendrick said after the win.

Ever consistent Dane Shadow mare Cruella De Vil made it 3 straight for connections after winning the LA DESIGNER HOMES BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1600m at Wyong on 02/01/14.

Starting the short priced favourite in a small field she began well and just settled off the leaders before gathering them in and proving too strong over the concluding stages to beat 2nd - Dubai Dusk and 3rd - Only Money.

Sutherland starts new year with a BANG!!

Wagga Horse Trainer Trevor Sutherland started 2014 with a huge day out at Gundagai racecourse 1/1/2014.

Sutherland went on to Place or win in every race ending the day with 1 winner, 3 * 2nds and 2 * 3rds  A fine achievement.

Aye Calypso saluted in the first comfortably by 2.5 lengths for owner Leona Watson. A well deserved win after some tough runs in earlier campaign and it appears to have improved massively with the recent spell!

KASIANO LAD continued to work through his grades today in the 1250m Congrats @ Vinery 3yo BM68 Handicap. He has now met the starter on three occasions and found the winners stall twice. Nathan Berry produced a copy book ride from barrier 2, with KASIANO LAD scraping the paint to win by a widening margin of 1.3 lengths.

After a very erratic first up run at Canterbury, SWEET SERENDIPITY was again playing games at Kembla Grange. Despite wanting to lay out for most of the event, the son of Vinery stallion EXCITES, showed a clean pair of heels to win the 1000m Blitzen BM65 Handicap.

AUSTIN'S CANE looked a shade disappointing at Hawkesbury at his previous start but made things right by winning the 1600m Bomaderry Bowling Club BM50 Handicap at Nowra.

After racing on the speed from an awkward barrier, AUSTIN'S CANE looked a sitting duck at the top of the straight. Under strong riding from Robbie Brewer, AUSTIN'S CANE stuck to the task at hand, and was able to hold off all challenges on the line.

The Sunday meeting at Orange turned into a very fruitful day for the Singleton Stable when they pocketed a double and was only the slimmest of margins from making it a treble.

Race 1 signalled the early start of wins when Abbalac took out NEWPORT RECRUITMENT CLASS 3 HANDICAP over 1280mt beating 2nd - Jellybean Jack and 3rd Great Dansaar by a margin of 1.3 lengths.
